Zamioculcas, commonly known as the ZZ Plant, is an exceptionally resilient houseplant known for its thick, naturally glossy, deep-green foliage. Its upright stems and structured growth habit give it a clean, modern appearance.

Extremely tolerant and easy to maintain, it is an excellent choice for homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

Light:

Adapts to a wide range of light conditions, from low to bright indirect light. Bright, indirect light encourages stronger growth. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.

Water:
Allow the soil to dry completely or almost completely between waterings. Its thick rhizomes store water, allowing it to tolerate extended periods without watering. Very sensitive to overwatering; reduce watering significantly during winter.

Adapts very well to normal or low household humidity and does not require high humidity.

Good to know:

ZZ Plants develop thick underground rhizomes that store water, which explains their excellent drought tolerance. New growth generally emerges light green before gradually darkening as it matures. Growth can be slow, particularly in lower-light conditions.
