Yucca is a resilient, architectural indoor plant known for its long, sword-shaped green leaves that grow in rosettes from thick, woody trunks. Its clean, structured appearance makes it an excellent choice for homes, offices, and large commercial interiors.

Over time, it can develop into an impressive tree-like specimen.

Light:

Prefers very bright light and tolerates several hours of direct sunlight very well when gradually acclimated. Excellent light encourages stronger, more compact growth. It can tolerate medium light, although growth will be slower.

Water:
Allow a good portion of the soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. Yucca tolerates being slightly too dry much better than being overwatered.

Adapts very well to normal or low household humidity and does not require high humidity. Good air circulation is preferable.

Good to know:

Yucca is often sold with several canes of different heights planted together to create a fuller specimen. New rosettes of foliage can develop from the canes over time. Lower leaves may naturally yellow and dry as the plant grows and can be removed once completely dry.
