Schefflera Amate is a striking tropical plant prized for its large, glossy leaves arranged in distinctive umbrella-like clusters. Its lush, deep-green foliage gives it a bold and impressive presence, especially in larger spaces.

As it matures, it can develop into a substantial tree-like specimen, making it an excellent choice for bright homes, offices, and commercial interiors.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. It tolerates medium light, but brighter conditions encourage stronger growth and denser foliage. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions. Keep it away from cold drafts and sources of very dry heat.

Good to know:

Schefflera Amate generally develops much larger leaves than Schefflera arboricola. It also has a larger growth habit, giving it more of a tropical tree appearance. Pruning can help control its height and encourage a fuller, more branched plant.
