Fernwood Snake Plant is a modern, architectural variety known for its long, narrow, rigid, slightly cylindrical leaves. Its deep-green foliage features lighter green horizontal banding, creating an attractive natural contrast.

Its slender, upright growth habit gives it a light and contemporary appearance, making it an excellent choice for modern interiors, offices, and smaller spaces.

Light:

Adapts to a wide range of light conditions, from low to bright indirect light. Bright, indirect light encourages stronger growth and helps maintain foliage colour and variegation. It can tolerate some gentle direct sunlight, but avoid sudden exposure to intense sun.

Water:
Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Very sensitive to overwatering; reduce watering frequency during winter.

Adapts very well to normal or low household humidity and does not require high humidity. Avoid keeping the foliage or growing medium constantly wet.

Good to know:

Fernwood differs from traditional Snake Plants with its much narrower, slightly cylindrical foliage. It gradually produces additional growth from the base, creating a fuller specimen as it matures.
