Radermachera sinica, commonly known as the China Doll Plant, is an elegant tropical houseplant prized for its fine, dense, glossy foliage. Its numerous small, deep-green leaflets create a light and delicate appearance while forming a lush plant that can develop into a small tree-like specimen as it matures.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. Good light encourages dense growth and helps the plant retain its foliage. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid both overwatering and prolonged periods of dryness.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Keep it away from cold drafts and sources of very dry heat.

Good to know:

China Doll appreciates consistency and may drop some leaves following a significant change in light, location, or watering. Once acclimated, it will generally produce new growth. Pruning the growing tips can also help maintain a compact, well-branched plant.
