Philodendron Prince of Orange is a spectacular tropical plant known for foliage that changes colour as it matures. New leaves emerge in beautiful shades of orange to copper, gradually transitioning through bronze before developing into green.

Its compact, upright, self-heading growth habit creates a dense and structured plant, making it an excellent choice for adding vibrant colour to an indoor space.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter conditions encourage stronger growth, fuller foliage, and beautiful colouring. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet, as Philodendrons are sensitive to overwatering and root rot.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions. Avoid very dry locations and direct sources of heat.

The most distinctive feature of Prince of Orange is the dramatic colour transformation of its foliage. A single plant can display orange, copper, bronze, and green leaves at the same time. Unlike climbing Philodendrons, it has a naturally self-heading growth habit and generally does not require a support.
