Philodendron Silver Sword is a beautiful climbing tropical plant known for its distinctive blue-green to silvery foliage with a subtle metallic appearance. Its elegant, elongated leaves develop a characteristic sword-like shape, giving the plant a modern and striking look.

A natural climber, it particularly benefits from a stake or moss pole, which can encourage the development of progressively larger and more impressive foliage.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter conditions encourage stronger growth, fuller foliage, and beautiful colouring. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet, as Philodendrons are sensitive to overwatering and root rot.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions. Avoid very dry locations and direct sources of heat.

Silver Sword is easily distinguished from many other Philodendrons by its naturally silvery, metallic-looking foliage. Its leaf shape also changes with maturity, generally becoming larger, more elongated, and more distinctly sword-shaped when allowed to climb on a support.
