The Raindrop Peperomia is a beautiful compact tropical plant recognized for its large, thick, glossy green leaves shaped like raindrops. Its lush foliage and upright growth habit give it a modern and elegant appearance that stands apart from smaller or trailing Peperomia varieties.

As it matures, it develops stronger stems and generous foliage, making it a beautiful choice for desks, shelves, and bright indoor spaces.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. Good lighting encourages compact growth and helps maintain the attractive red tones of the foliage. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water:

 Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet, as Peperomia are sensitive to overwatering. Excellent drainage is recommended.  

Appreciates moderate humidity but generally adapts very well to normal household conditions.

Good to know:

Peperomia Polybotrya is commonly called Raindrop Peperomia because of its distinctive raindrop-shaped leaves. It is sometimes confused with Pilea peperomioides, but Raindrop Peperomia generally has thicker, fleshier, more teardrop-shaped leaves rather than perfectly round foliage. It may also produce slender upright flower spikes.
