Green Oxalis is a charming plant appreciated for its delicate foliage composed of three leaflets resembling a shamrock. Its fresh green foliage brings a light and cheerful touch to any indoor space, while its delicate white to slightly pink flowers add even more charm when the plant is in bloom.

Under the right conditions, Oxalis can quickly become full and lush, producing numerous new leaves from its underground bulbs.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. Some gentle morning or late-afternoon sun can encourage compact growth and flowering. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water:

Water when the surface of the soil begins to dry. Keep the growing medium slightly moist during active growth, but never constantly waterlogged. Reduce watering if the plant enters dormancy.

Normal to moderate humidity is suitable. Oxalis generally adapts well to typical indoor home or office conditions.

Good to know:

Oxalis leaves naturally close at night or when light levels decrease and reopen when exposed to light. The plant may also enter a period of dormancy and lose some or all of its foliage. This does not necessarily mean the plant has died: new growth can emerge from the underground bulbs after its resting period.
