The Hoya DS-70 – Neon is a beautiful trailing tropical Hoya appreciated for its small, thick, fleshy, slightly fuzzy leaves. Its foliage can display attractive shades of light green to lime green, with darker or reddish tones developing under excellent lighting. Its compact, cascading growth makes it especially attractive in hanging baskets.

Light:

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Excellent lighting helps maintain its beautiful variegation and may encourage flowering. It can enjoy some gentle morning or late-afternoon sunlight.

Water:
Allow a good portion of the soil to dry between waterings. Its thick leaves allow the plant to store some water. Water thoroughly, then allow all excess water to drain completely. Use a well-draining growing medium.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions.

Good to know:

The Hoya sold as DS-70 is frequently confused with or marketed under different names, including Hoya burtoniae. Once mature and grown under favorable conditions, it can produce beautiful clusters of small, star-shaped flowers, often in pinkish to reddish tones.
