The Hoya carnosa ‘Krimson Queen’ is a beautiful variegated Hoya known for its thick, glossy leaves edged in creamy white or pink. Its climbing or trailing growth makes it an especially decorative houseplant.

Light:

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Excellent lighting helps maintain its beautiful variegation and may encourage flowering. It can enjoy some gentle morning or late-afternoon sunlight.

Water:
Allow a good portion of the soil to dry between waterings. Its thick leaves allow the plant to store some water. Water thoroughly, then allow all excess water to drain completely. Use a well-draining growing medium.

Krimson Queen is mainly recognized by its variegation along the outer edges of the leaves, unlike Krimson Princess, which typically has cream variegation through the center. When mature and grown under the right conditions, Krimson Queen can produce beautiful clusters of pinkish-white, star-shaped flowers, often with a pleasant fragrance.
