The Calathea lancifolia, commonly known as the Rattlesnake Calathea, is a beautiful tropical plant admired for its long, narrow, and wavy foliage. Light:

Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Good lighting helps maintain the beautiful patterns and colors of its foliage. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which may scorch or fade the leaves. 

Water:
Water when the top layer of soil begins to dry. Keep the soil slightly moist but never waterlogged. Calatheas particularly appreciate filtered or low-mineral water. 

Prefers moderate to high humidity. Higher humidity encourages lush foliage and helps prevent dry leaf edges.

Calathea lancifolia is a “prayer plant.” Its long leaves can naturally rise in the evening and lower again during the day, beautifully displaying their rich purple undersides.
