The Variegated Ficus Benjamina / Margarita is a beautiful colorful variation of the classic Ficus Benjamina. Depending on the available variety, coloration and patterns may vary, giving each plant a unique, bright, and refined appearance.

Light:

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Variegated varieties generally require more light than solid-green Ficus Benjamina to maintain their beautiful coloration. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water:
Water when the top few inches of soil begin to dry. Water thoroughly and allow all excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household or office conditions.

Good to know:

Ficus Benjamina appreciates stability. Sudden changes in light, temperature, or location can cause temporary leaf drop. Variegated varieties may also display different patterns and levels of coloration depending on the amount of light they receive.
