The Davallia mariesii fern is also nicknamed the rabbit's foot fern because of its hairy rhizomes which accompany the leaves. Like all ferns, Davallia is ideal for rooms with low to moderate lighting. She doesn't like the sun's rays at all, which could damage her delicate foliage.
