The Crassula , commonly known as Jade plant, is a member of the immense Crassulacea family, comprising over 300 species; most of which native to South Africa. Just like his succulent cousins, it is easy to care for, making it the ideal plant to go green with!

A lovely piece given its tree-like shape, green and tiny round leaves; it will adorn any room where you set it, whether at home or the office.

MAINTENANCE

To be happy inside, the Crassula  requires good luminosity or direct sun, especially in winter. Give it a drink when the soil is completely dry, which could occur every 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the season and the room’s humidity level. Here is a little tip to determine if it is the case: delicately insert a thin wooden stick all the way down to the bottom of the pot. If the stick is wet or damp as you pull it out, your Crassula  does not need a drink just yet!

When you take possession of your plant, make sure you assess its watering needs. Before you give it a drink the first time, check the soil’s moisture level to verify whether or not it is moist near the surface. It is best to aerate the soil before the initial watering since it is often compacted to avoid shifting during transit. This also allows it to breathe and release moisture.

Rotate your plant periodically in order to encourage an even growth. Cleaning the leaves regularly will stimulate proper photosynthesis. As you wipe the foliage, inspect the leaves on either side to make sure there are no pests.
