The Beaucarnea recurvata, commonly known as the Ponytail Palm, is a distinctive tropical plant known for its thick, rounded trunk and long, slender, cascading green leaves. Light:

Thrives in bright light and can enjoy several hours of direct sunlight. Good lighting encourages healthy, vigorous growth. 

Water:
Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings, then water thoroughly. Its swollen trunk naturally stores water, allowing the plant to tolerate drier conditions very well. Reduce watering significantly during the winter months. 

Adapts very well to normal household humidity and does not require high humidity.
